A Word of WARNING If You're Visiting Magic Kingdom on October 21st

If you’re heading to the Magic Kingdom on October 21st, there’s a park hours update you NEED to be aware of!

According to the resort’s official calendar, that Tuesday evening will see Walt Disney World’s flagship park will be closing to the public at 6:00 PM.

As usual for early closures such as this, the closure is tied to a private event. In this case, it’s linked to the Gartner IT Symposium/XPO, a technology conference that offers those in the space “practical solutions to accelerate your organization’s technology strategy to adapt and withstand disruptions.”

The event is taking place at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin hotels from October 20th through the 23rd.

Of course, the 21st isn’t the only evening in October that will see the Magic Kingdom close early to the general public. The month will also play host to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (which runs from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with the park closing to non-party guests at 6:00 PM) on October 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 28th, 30th and (of course) the 31st.
