NEW Permits Reveal UPDATES at Disney World Hotels and More

New rides, new restaurants, new hotel updates, oh my!

Plenty of changes are on the way everywhere you look in Disney World, and if you’re planning an upcoming trip — you might be trying to figure out just what you need to be looking out for. Refurbishments have been underway around the parks and hotels for a while, but these new permits point to even more updates coming soon.

A permit was filed for construction that appears to match up with the American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT! More specifically, it looks like one particular kiosk will be getting some love sometime soon.

The description is to “provide labor, material, and/or electrical for construction,” so we’ll have to wait and see what ends up happening in this area.

The Hall of Presidents is getting an upgrade! Or, at least, a new permit has been filed which means it could be getting an upgrade.

It’s listed as general construction, but the permit doesn’t really get any more specific than that. We’ll be on the lookout for more clues as to what this might be.

Plenty of construction is going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but a new permit points to work starting soon at the Tonga building specifically. It’s for general construction which could really mean anything, but we’ll keep an eye out for more.

At the Grand Floridian, we spotted two new permits — one for “utility and infrastructure modifications” at a DVC building, and another at the Grand Floridian Trolley House for general construction. Hopefully, this won’t impact your trip too badly!

And finally, it looks like some electrical work is being done at Pop Century and All-Star Sports. The work at Pop looks like it’ll be taking place in the main building, while Stadium Hall is the location for the All-Star Sports permit.
