Over the past year, we’ve seen a lot of things return to Disney World, including shows like Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, Magic Kingdom’s morning welcome show, and more. But, there are still quite a few shows that have yet to come back.
While Disney has shared that we’ll have to wait until 2022 to see things like Fantasmic! and the Festival of Fantasy Parade return, one fan-favorite show is BACK in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we’re bringing you along to check out what it’s like!
As of today, December 19th, 2021, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular has returned to the park after remaining closed for over 18 months.
We stopped by Hollywood Studios today to see the grand reopening of this amazing show!

The show can be seen throughout the day at 12PM, 1:15PM, 3:15PM, 4:45PM, and 6PM. And, while all of the elements of the show are the same, there are quite a few aspects that will be brand NEW to guests!
One of the first things that long-time fans will notice about the show is that the iconic temple scene has a few changes in the dialogue. And, right after Indy escapes from being crushed by a rock, a new scene has been added where the full cast is introduced.
There are also some new stunts in select scenes including the scene with Indy and Marion in clothes racks and the large fight scene that occurs with the on-set airplane.
And, you’ll also notice that punches sound a bit more…well, punchy, and all of the set elements look fresh after being repainted during the show’s extended closure.
