VIDEO: Behind-the-Scenes Look at the New Statue Coming to EPCOT!

As part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, EPCOT is undergoing a huge transformation, overhauling much of the park’s Future World and sections of World Showcase, adding new attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and restaurants like Space 220!

Today, we’re taking a look behind-the-scenes of Dreamers Point, the new hub of EPCOT!

One of the highlights of the Dreamers Point area coming to EPCOT is a new Walt Disney statue, featuring Walt admiring EPCOT, the passion project he never got to see completed.

Since today is Walt Disney’s 120th birthday, Disney gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the new statue of Walt coming to EPCOT! In a new video, you can watch as a mini-model of the statue is sculpted using the concept art and numerous pictures of Walt as references.
