PHOTOS & VIDEOS: First Look at EPCOT’s New Harmonious Fireworks

It’s not even the big day yet but the 50th Anniversary celebrations have already kicked off! Today, a new fireworks show is coming early to Disney World as part of the big celebration!

Without further ado, we’re taking you with us to the brand new Harmonious fireworks!

Disney World’s schedule lists the showtime for Harmonious at 9:45 PM through October 16th. Some of the best spots to watch the fireworks happen to be at La Hacienda de San Angel, Pont des Arts Bridge, World Showcase Plaza, and more (that you can read here)! Plus, the Rose & Crown Dining Room and Spice Road Table will both be offering dining packages with views of the fireworks!

The crowds gathering around the World Showcase Lagoon were very busy, as everyone was excited to kick off the nighttime spectacular!

Plenty of People in EPCOT for the big show!

The show opened with a medley of the opening songs from Frozen and Lion King, along with a monologue about how we are all connected by music.

Harmonious uses lights, water effects, and fireworks!

Some of the sections included were “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana sung in both Japanese and English, “Go the Distance” from Hercules, and a medley of the two songs.

This was followed by “Arabian Nights” performed in Arabic and “Wanna Be Like You” from Jungle Book performed in a Bollywood style.

Next was “Reflection” from Mulan in Chinese and then a Lion King medley of “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”

After that were sections based on Beauty and the BeastHunchback of Notre Dame, and Brave!

Next was a Spanish and English rendition of “Remember Me” from Coco  and then “Dig A Little Deeper” from Princess and the Frog.

This show is sure to light up the night!

Finally, there was an epic closing rendition of “Someday” from Hunchback of Notre Dame!
