PHOTOS: Prepare to Be STUNNED By Spaceship Earth’s New Nighttime Look in EPCOT

Disney World’s big 50th anniversar is almost here! It’s only days until the parks celebrate with all sorts of new goodies and additions! EPCOT has already started celebrating with the arrival of their new fireworks show Harmonious.

Tonight, we got our first look at the Beacons of Magic, the makeover treatments for each of the four Disney World park icons!

EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth was lit up in EARidescent colors and became a Beacon of Magic! The icon is lit up with a special array of lights placed all over the geodesic sphere.

We got to take an up-close and personal look at Spaceship Earth’s big makeover! Hues of purple, orange, and pink blend across the surface of the icon to make a beautiful display.

The lights on Spaceship Earth can also do patterns and change colors, making the park icon come alive with color!

Spaceship Earth’s new look is especially gorgeous in front of the park’s entrance translucent fountain!

The new lights and projections also allow Spaceship Earth to be covered in beautiful patterns, making the possibilities endless for what the icon could look like!
