PHOTOS & VIDEOS: The Last Showing of Happily Ever After Fireworks in Magic Kingdom

In order to move forward into the future, big changes have to happen. And, Disney World is all about making those huge changes right now, as the parks prepare for an overhaul in honor of the 50th Anniversary celebrations!

Magic Kingdom itself has received some beautiful additions with golden statues, decorations on Cinderella Castle, a giant stage, and more. However, the Magic Kingdom will be making its biggest change when it comes to its entertainment! The new Disney Enchantment fireworks and Main Street, U.S.A. projections will be adding extra magic to the park for the 50th anniversary. But, that means it’s time to say goodbye the Happily Ever After fireworks!

And, tonight is the last night that Happily Ever After was shown in the Magic Kingdom! We took you with us to see the final viewing before Happily Ever After becomes another party of Disney history! Leading up to the start of the show, there was a HUGE crowd in front of Cinderella Castle!

The show began and we knew we were there for something historic. From “How Far I’ll Go” to “Friend Like Me”, it was nice to hear our Disney favorites set to these dazzling fireworks one last time.

As always, Cinderella Castle was covered in stunning projections! The show continued and we knew we were getting close to the end.

As the show ended, the huge crowd slowly exited the Magic Kingdom, knowing they had seen Happily Ever After for the last time.

Eventually, the crowd started to disperse and everyone got out of the park!
