Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash Event is finally here at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
The event sold out quickly and Disney restocked tickets at one point. For tonight’s event (which previously appeared as sold out online), we noticed that Disney was selling tickets on the day of the event. So, just what do crowd levels look like at Boo Bash right now? Let’s take a look!
Guests with a Boo Bash ticket are allowed into the park starting at 7PM.
Ahead of the Happily Ever After fireworks (which began at around 8:45PM tonight) there were some pretty large crowds.

At this point, the park was still open to regular theme park guests (in addition to Boo Bash guests). At around 8:45PM the wait times stretched from 5 minutes (at rides like The Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Mad Tea Party) to 60 minutes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Astro Orbiter.
The event officially stared tonight at 9:30PM (note that it starts at 9PM on select nights, and 9:30PM on other nights). At that point, guests who do not have a ticket for Boo Bash will not be allowed to enter the attractions, etc. so you should truly be able to get a sense for just how limited the capacity for the event is.
At 10PM we checked the wait times again to see how things had changed. Many rides were still at a 5 minute wait, and more rides had joined the 5 minute wait group, including Jungle Cruise. At 10PM, the longest wait time was Astro Orbiter still at 60 minutes, but the ride with the next longest wait time was Peter Pan’s Flight with only a 35 minute wait.
Over at the Tomorrowland DJ Dance Party, there were some guests dancing, but also plenty of open space.

Some crowds did form around certain character interactions or the cavalcades, but overall crowd levels were pretty low once the actual party was underway!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we find.
Stay tuned to AllEars, and we’ll bring you all the news from Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash!
