NEWS: Beauty and the Beast Stage Show Gets a Reopening Date in Disney World

Live entertainment has slowly, but surely been returning back to Disney World. We’ve seen fireworks appear in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, as well as the Festival of the Lion King in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

And Disney’s latest announcement has given us a date for the return of a fan-favorite show!

Disney has announced that “Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage” will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 15th! Since the park has reopened, the Theater of the Stars has been repurposed previously as a Relaxation Station and then extra seating for dining.

But, now the Sunset Boulevard hit will be back to bring the story of Belle and Beast to life with “colorful costumes, gorgeous scenery and the songs you know and love” during the live stage performance!

  1. Glad to see this show returning…. hopefully will be the FULL show. IMO… they really should’ve took this time to repurpose the really old Indy show to something more current… plenty of options.
