It’s been over a year since Disney World reopened after closing temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic and things are starting to look a lot more normal!
So far, we’ve seen as more restaurants and hotels have reopened and health and safety policies have been updated. And, it looks like The Festival of the Lion King won’t be the only returned live entertainment option in the parks for much longer!
Disney has announced that BOTH Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor and Turtle Talk With Crush will be returning in August!
If you’re not familiar, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom and welcomes guests into Monstropolis to collect “laugh juice” from the audience. And, it won’t be long before you can be deemed “That Guy” once again because it will reopen on August 8th.
And, over in EPCOT, Turtle Talk with Crush is located in the Sea Base (which is at the exit of The Seas with Nemo and Friends) and is an interactive show where guests get to talk to — you guessed it — Crush! It will reopen on August 21st.

SOOOOOOO Excited!!!!! My 21 year old son has autism. He likes ‘some of the attractions but he mostly enjoys the shows, and these two are his absolute favorite!! We missed them on our last trip in February. I just told him they were reopening so we will get to see them in October! Oh happy Day Disney!
