Disney World is already thinking about and getting ready for the holiday season!

This year guests will be able to purchase tickets for a brand new ticketed holiday event (that will replace Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party), check out giant gingerbread displays, take a stroll around EPCOT’s World Showcase on the hunt for cookies, and more! And, there will even be an honorary guest around for the season!
This year, guests will be able to spot Santa Claus at all 4 Disney World theme parks AND in Disney Springs.
Santa is returning to the streets of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and will be greeting guests in a special cavalcade down Hollywood Boulevard.

If you’re not familiar with Disney’s cavalcades, these short “parades” travel down the streets of the park at various times throughout the day.

Also, as part of Minnie’s Seasonal Dining at Hollywood & Vine, Goofy will be decked out as Santa himself!

In EPCOT, fans will be able to wave at Santa as he prepares for the big day outside of The American Adventure pavilion. There will also be other versions of Santa to spot throughout the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

In Magic Kingdom, Santa appears with his reindeer and more as part of the holiday parade during the Very Merriest After Hours event.

You can also stop by and chat with Santa during the Very Merriest After Hours event.

At Animal Kingdom, keep your eyes on Discovery River as Santa will float past from time to time throughout the day as part of a festive flotilla.

At Disney Springs, you can join a virtual queue to visit with Santa for FREE.

Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details about all the holiday festivities coming to Disney World this year, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!
