There are certainly some changes going on at Epcot right now, so you know we had to stop in and check in on the latest construction updates.
From Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind progress, to the opening of a new restaurant in the America Pavilion, here’s what we found on our recent visit to Epcot!
After the crazy amount of construction barriers went up in Future World the other day, it’s helpful to have a few more signs to point us the right direction. We spotted this one with the new Epcot icon on the top near the entrance to the park.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Thanks to the new pathways to get us around Future World, we were able to get closer to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind than ever before — not that it was the best view to check out the construction.
But, you can definitely see some progress from other angles! The roof looks completely different from when they started, and we even saw workers while we were there!
With the closure of Electric Umbrella, we’re expecting the Taste Track kiosk to bring some added dining options to Future World. Today, we spotted a new “Coming Soon” sign that has given us hope that it will be up and running soon!
Another interesting development in Epcot comes in the form of some new FastPass kiosks around the park!
These in-person kiosks are a great way to nab more Fastpasses on your day in the park and they come with scanners so you can easily load the passes onto your MagicBand.
Mission: SPACE Moon
We also noticed some changes to the moon sculpture that sits outside of Mission: SPACE. The structure has a new paint job that gives it a pretty noticeable purple hue.
We love this sculpture because you can check out the history of missions to the moon!
And, of course, we can’t forget that Regal Eagle is now open in the American Adventure Pavilion. Go get you some barbecue!
