The times they are a-changin’ over at Epcot, but we’ve known this. What’s surprising is just how different Future World looks today!

When we got to Epcot today, we were met with a ton of construction barriers blocking off pretty much all of central Future World. The area behind Spaceship Earth? Yeah, it’s getting some work done — including the closures of both Electric Umbrella and Pin Central.
The construction starts right at the entrance with construction barriers blocking off many of the entrance lanes. Guests had to stick mostly to the left of the entrance to head in.

Thankfully, things aren’t too confusing with some temporary signage directing guests to the different Future World locations. And, yes! Spaceship Earth is still open (for now anyway).

You can also still get into the temporary MouseGear location which is a good thing…

…because much of the MouseGear building is walled off elsewhere!

There’s so much construction, in fact, that temporary walkways have been established to get guests from place to place. Here you can see the access to Guest Relations.

The path by Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is available for access to Future World East.

There’s also a temporary pathway set up for access to Future World West and to the front exit of the park.

Speaking of which, they’ve even established a temporary exit! Whew.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this massive project to see when things start to look even more different. So, stay tuned with un and we’ll get you all the updates!
