Are you looking for opportunities to take your Disney vacation to the next level? Or do you simply just feel like splurging on the best that Disney has to offer?

Well, if that’s what you want, we can certainly suggest a few ways to help you spend your money!
Rent a Limo
Disney is all about the experience, stepping out of the daily rut of the real world and stepping into one filled with creativity and magic. What better way to do that than by arriving in a limo or town car?
We think limos are a great form of transportation to and from the airport, especially if you’re traveling with a large group. You have privacy, comfort, and luxury.
Try a Signature Dining Experience
Another fun and rewarding way to splurge at Disney is by indulging in a Signature Dining Location. You can fill your belly with delicious food at most Disney dining locations, whether Quick Service or Table Service. But, why not take it a step further? At Signature Dining Locations you have an EXPERIENCE. There’s atmosphere, fancy decor, stellar service and more exotic foods with wine pairings and other add-ons. Say YES to the appetizer AND dessert. Calories don’t count at Disney, so just go for it! Will these places cost more? Of course, but if you’re looking to splurge they are totally worth it. Book a Dining Package or Dessert Party
Another great way to splurge when it comes to food is with a dessert party or dining package that comes with reserved seating or viewing. These parties and packages are typically a ticket add-on. The dessert parties allow you to munch on sweets while watching a Disney show, like the Happily Ever Fireworks or IllumiNations.

Just about every nighttime show or experience has the option for a dessert party, so make sure you look into these when planning your next vacation. The dining packages offer you guaranteed seating or a reserved viewing spot for performances like the Eat to the Beat concerts during Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, or the Disney on Broadway shows during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
Our readers have also left plenty of reviews on each experience, so give those a peek to see which parties our readers are recommending.
Take a Backstage Tour
Going on a backstage tour is a great way to splurge! These experiences are ideal for a special occasion, especially if you’ve visited the parks multiple times and you are looking for something fun and new to do.
Tours can give your great insight into the parks and will allow you to see the entire Disney operation as a whole in a new way. This is a splurge because these experiences can be a little pricey sometimes. Wondering which backstage tour is right for your family?

If you aren’t looking to tour behind the scenes, Disney offers other unique experiences like the Wild Africa Trek and Epcot Seas Adventures. Click here to find our complete list of tours and special experiences.

Sign Up for Disney After Hours
Disney After Hours events are specially ticketed Disney events that allow you to experience the park with little to no crowds. We were mind-blown when we saw just how short the lines were for big-name attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Avatar Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog Dash. (TEN MINUTES! No lie!) So, if you are looking to ride those attractions and weren’t able to snag a FastPass during regular park hours, this is the perfect opportunity to make up for that.
Another really cool thing about the After Hours events is that Disney provides a few snack and beverage options — ice cream bars, popcorn, bottled soda and water. These are already included with your ticket, so all you have to worry about is enjoying them.
Now, this experience is pretty pricey, especially because the event is rather short, but if you don’t mind staying up late and dishing out the extra bucks to hang out at Disney with fewer crowds, this is the way to do it. Find out more about Disney Afer Hour Events at Magic Kingdom here!
Disney also recently announced a Villains After Hours event. It will feature special edition treats, a new stage show, and more. Check all the details out here!

Party at the Holidays
Speaking of events, if you’re looking to splurge on your Disney vacation, we also suggest attending a holiday party. These events are a bit more crowded, we aren’t going to lie. BUT they are so much fun. From trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom for candy to seeing snow in Florida at Christmas time, there’s truly nothing more magical than the holidays at Disney.
Each event offers special opportunities that you can only experience during the party. These include rare character meet-and-greets, themed parades, shows, and fireworks! Disney has even announced new fireworks spectacular for the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year that sounds so cute I can’t wait to see it.
Holiday parties are great for the entire family and we really do think they’re worth the money. We just suggest attending parties earlier in the season if possible, as they’re usually a little less crowded then!

Apparently I can’t say this enough. There was a time when the splurge was simply going to Disney World. After you got inside, everyone was equal. A rich kid had to wait in line just as long as a poor one. We were all in the same magical boat. And no one cared.
Today it is all about how much cash you have to throw around. And if you don’t have any you get to watch those that do pass you by all day.
It saddens me very much.
This is absolute fact right here!
I’ve done the Dessert Party splurge one time. The rest are just crazy expenditures in my opinion. Whatever floats your boat though.
Just the cost of a Disney vacation is a splurge. These should be called Uber-splurges or College Find Crushers.
And, sorry, the only limo I’m taking will be on the Rockin Roller Coaster. I’ve already paid dearly for that one.
