Have you ever imagined what it would be like to walk down Main Street, USA without crowds, or to just walk on rides with no wait? Well, now you can!
Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is hosting Disney After Hours this summer. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the park for three hours with a limited number of guests after it closes for the day. There are 25 rides and attractions open as well select character greetings. All with little-to-no-wait. This is a separate admission event.
This is your chance to enjoy the park and rides with a minimal amount of people. Rides are pretty much walk-on, and some are even stay-on if you want to ride them a second (or third!) time. If you’re a photographer, it is also a fun opportunity to grab some crowd-free photos of the Castle!
Remaining dates and times for the event include:

Saturday, July 21, 2018
Saturday, July 28, 2018

Your ticket for the event also includes unlimited free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages (soda and water). Main Street Bakery is open, as well as other select locations. (The evening we were there this summer Casey’s Corner and Main Street Bakery were open.)
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $119 per adult or child, plus tax. Tickets purchased on the day of the event cost $124 per adult or child, plus tax. Tickets for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are $89 per adult or child, plus tax.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling Disney at 407-939-5277 or visiting their website.
In the past Disney has allowed people to enter the park an hour before the After Hours event opens. This may change at any time.
EDITOR’S NOTE: We have attended this event and can highly recommend it as a great opportunity to enjoy the rides line-free, meet characters, enjoy ice cream treats, and take photos. We already have our tickets for our next visit!
