Primeval Whirl

Certain attractions are restricted to persons of a set height. Other attractions issue cautions.  Be sure to read the signs and don't be timid about asking Cast Members questions.

Each child is different, what may scare yours may not bother the next person's. I have been on Tower of Terror with a 6-year-old who thought it was great and been on Dinosaur with an 11-year-old who was VERY scared! If you are unsure, ask the Cast Member at the entrance. Reminder: there is a Rider Switch (aka Child Swap) option available to you at the attractions!

PLEASE - Try to know what you and your child are able to ride/experience before you go to avoid disappointment. Please do not take your screaming scared child on rides they do not wish to go on (yes, I see this every trip!).

Epcot Mission: SPACE CAUTION - VERY INTENSE - Must be at least 44 inches (112 cm) tall to ride. Expectant mothers should not ride. Two options available - GREEN option is less intense than ORANGE.

Expectant mothers should not ride. Wheelchair users must transfer out of chair to ride. Seating and restraints may prohibit certain body shapes or sizes from riding.

Those who are uncomfortable with loud noise or closed dark spaces should not ride.

Must be at least 54 inches (137 cm) to drive.  Persons who do not meet the minimum height requirement must ride with a responsible person who meets the requirement. In addition to the above mentioned attractions, I would also suggest caution (young children might be scared) on the following:

Magic Kingdom: Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White's Adventures

Epcot: Maelstrom, Journey into Your Imagination

Water Parks:  Expectant mothers and those with neck or back problems are discouraged from experiencing any water slide attraction.

Additionally, life jackets are available at each of the water parks.  A refundable $25 deposit or driver's license is required in order to obtain a jacket.
