The Levy Restaurant group, which debuted Paddlefish, a seafood-centric signature restaurant located in the heart of Disney Springs earlier this year, will soon unveil their newest venue: Terralina Crafted Italian, expected to transport guests to "la dolce vita," (the sweet life) essence of the spectacular Lake District of Northern Italy. The restaurant was originally to open in Fall 2017, but has been delayed until Spring 2018.

National Cupcake Day is next Friday, Dec. 15. To celebrate, Sprinkles, the "world's first cupcake bakery," is giving away free cupcakes for a year. To enter the giveaway, customers must be a member or sign up for the Sprinkles Perks Program and make a purchase at any Sprinkles bakery nationwide now through Dec. 12. Each visit will count as a different entry. Winners will be contacted on Dec. 14. To make National Cupcake Day even sweeter, the first 50 customers in line at each bakery on Dec. 15 will receive a FREE limited-edition Strawberry Sprinkles Cupcake, loaded with rainbow sprinkles and topped with a cream cheese frosting.

The Edison at Disney Springs will host its Grand Opening on New Year's Eve. The Edison's doors will open at 7:30 p.m., allowing guests time to eat, drink and be merry, right up through a special midnight toast to ring in 2018. Tickets for The Edison's New Year's Eve Grand Opening are $150 and available to a limited number (350) of guests. The ticket price includes tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, live-action food stations and a wide selection of beer, wine and premium spirits from 8 p.m until midnight; plus, a selection of coffee, desserts and a celebratory midnight toast to ring in the new year.
When the Edison opens for regular business, it will feature multiple themed areas, such as the Lab performance space, The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room, and the Waterfront Patio. It will be open 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. After 9 p.m., you must be at least 21 years old to enter The Edison. The Edison offers discounts for Disney Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, Tables in Wonderland cardholders and Disney cast members.

In other Raglan Road news, the restaurant will offer special holiday dining on Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Christmas Day menu will include butter and herb-roasted turkey breast on mashed potatoes, with apple, sage and sweet onion stuffing; smoked bacon Brussels sprouts; duck-fat roasted potatoes; and cranberry and plum chutney served with traditional gravy. Price for adults is $27.95; children's price is $14. Those who wish to skip the holiday special can order anything on the regular dinner menu. Live bands and dance entertainment will be scheduled as usual beginning at 4 p.m. Reservations can be booked directly with Raglan Road at 407-938-0300.

Disney has increased the outdoor seating at Roaring Fork, the quick-service eatery located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. During the location's recent refurbishment, the beverage station was moved from the food service area into the seating area, eliminating several tables. To make up for that, additional seating on the outdoor patio has been added. Roaring Fork currently serves breakfast, lunch and dinner between the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
