Starting May 28, the Magic Kingdom will offer a new After Fireworks Dessert Party, held at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant immediately following the Happily Ever After Fireworks.

The new offering, which is $69 for adults and $41 for children, includes fireworks viewing in a special area in the Plaza Garden, and an array of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts and savory snacks.

Three more restaurants in the Magic Kingdom Park have begun serving alcohol, joining a number of restaurants in the park that have started the practice in recent years.

Guests ages 21 and over can now enjoy wine and beer at The Plaza Restaurant, The Crystal Palace, and The Diamond Horseshoe. The beverages have been specially selected for each restaurant's unique menu.

Today the Disney Parks Blog announced that an all-new table service restaurant will be coming to the Japan Pavilion in World Showcase. The restaurant will be a signature dining experience inspired by the natural beauty of Japan. The setting will draw from both nature and takumi, which means "artisan" in Japanese, and the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world will be evident throughout the space.

The as-yet unnamed restaurant will be operated by Mitsukoshi USA, which currently operates the merchandise, restaurants (Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining), and kiosks in the Japan Pavilion.

No further construction details or planned opening date have been announced.

Last summer, at the D23 Expo, a one-of-a-kind, space-themed restaurant was announced. Planned for Epcot, the restaurant is to offer guests amazing meals and a spectacular view from "high above Earth." Today, the Disney Parks Blog revealed that this restaurant will be built in a newly developed area located between Epcot's Mission: SPACE and Test Track attractions.

The Edison is serving up special burger and beverage pairings, such as a spicy The Diablo Burger coupled with a Flor de Maravilla, which is tequila, Ancho Chili Liquor, Maestro Dobel Humito, Solerno Blood Orange, Campari, Passion Fruit Cordial, and Blood Orange Juice served in a rocks glass with a strawberry garnish and a cocoa chili rubbed rim.

As of today, May 1, Disney Springs will be offering a brand-new Bourbon Trail, on which guests age 21 and older can discover bourbon-inspired beverages and food pairings.

Restaurants and other venues around Disney Springs have paired a special bourbon drink with a delicious dish. Whether you're a bourbon aficionado, or just enjoy sipping and savoring new drinks, this trail is perfect for an afternoon stroll or a night out with friends.

You can pick up a Bourbon Trail Passport that contains all of this info and more at the Disney Springs Welcome Center and at any participating locations.

These offerings will only be available through June 17.

Wine Bar George, a 200-seat wine bar owned by Master Sommelier George Miliotes that's due to open at Disney Springs sometime this spring, previewed some of its menu items recently. With a kitchen helmed by Executive Chef Ron Rupert, Wine Bar George will present a range of diverse dishes, from a grilled octopus salad to macaroni and cheese bites to whole Greek sea bass that is large enough to share. A new wine-tasting experience for Disney Vacation Club Members debuts April 15 at Disney's Old Key West Resort as part of Membership Magic. The tasting will accommodate as many as 20 members (ages 21 or older) each Sunday (excluding holidays) from 3 to 4 p.m. at Olivia's Cafe. It will explore the legend of "Olivia Farnsworth" and the resort that surrounds her namesake restaurant, while members enjoy a sampling of wines accompanied by bite-sized foods. The price is $30 a person (includes tax and gratuity). Call Member Services for more details or reservations.
