Tutto Gusto in Epcot's Italy pavilion is offering a new line of frozen drinks, just in time for cooling off from the summertime heat: Italian Daiquiri (Rum, lime juice, simple syrup, strawberry puree, Midori), Campari Pina Colada (Malibu rum, pineapple juice, Campari) and the Italian Margarita (Tequila, simple syrup, limoncello, lime juice). Each of these new concoctions is $14.

The Polite Pig, sister restaurant to The Ravenous Pig of Winter Park, Florida, will open in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs in the spring of 2017.

The Polite Pig will feature a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items, as well as an innovative beverage program that serves all drinks on tap. The 5,000-square-foot venue will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with seating for about 200 guests.

Chef Art Smith's Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar opened today, July 12, in The Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs. The new 6,000-square-foot, 200-seat restaurant features farm-to-fork cuisine that showcases the bounty of Florida, with traditional Southern favorites such as cheese-laced drop biscuits, Smith's world-famous fried chicken, and macaroni and cheese.

For just $28, you can try a "Taste of Tiffins," which includes a choice of two of the following, served with Jade Blend Rice: Flash-fried Icy Blue Mussels; Black-Eyed Pea Fritters; Crispy Yellowtail Snapper; Sustainable Seasonal Fish Crudo; 72-Hour Beef Short Rib; Salad of Roasted Baby Beets; Market Vegetable Curry; Marinated Grilled Octopus; Chermoula Rubbed Chicken; or Masa and Pulled Pork Tamale.

Now that neighboring Norway pavilion opens at 9 a.m. to accommodate all the Frozen-lovers, the Mexico pavilion in Epcot has followed suit. The pavilion opens at 9 a.m., with its quick-service La Cantina de San Angel open for breakfast.

Frontera Cocina, by Chef Rick Bayless, opened June 27 in Disney Springs. The restaurant features authentic Mexican specialties, such as hand-crafted tortas, tacos, salads, fresh-made guacamole and classic Mexican braised meat entrees, all prepared with natural, locally sourced ingredients. Frontera Cocina also will serve an extensive selection of margaritas, cocktails and craft beers and wine. Located in Town Center, the nearly 6,000-square-foot venue will seat 200 guests, and also features a take-out window. It is now taking reservations through OpenTable.com.
