The Holidays return November 9, 2018 – January 6, 2019. At Disneyland Park, this includes the return of the A Christmas Fantasy parade and the Believe…in Holiday Magic fireworks, along with the seasonal attractions it’s a small world Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday. Over in Disney California Adventure, the Festival of Holidays and ¡Viva Navidad! return, along with Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
Mobile Order of foods and beverages is available at select quick service restaurants at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
Rey Meet and Greet – Rey is available for a meet and greet along with Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren in the Star Wars Launch Bay.
Pixar Pier has opened at Disney California Adventure, featuring four new neighborhoods inspired by beloved Pixar stories and the new Lamplight Lounge restaurant. New attractions include the Incredicoaster and the Pixar Pal-A-Round.
For a limited time, Black Panther, king of Wakanda, is greeting guests in the Hollywood Backlot area of Disney California Adventure.
Disney MaxPass is now available at the Disneyland Resort. Guests with the MaxPass feature on their park tickets can make digital Fastpass selections using the Disneyland app on their phones. Unlimited PhotoPass downloads, including attraction and character dining photos, are another feature of MaxPass.
Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration begins January 2019. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be celebrated with entertainment and decor at Disneyland Park, plus limited-time food and beverage offerings and festive event merchandise available throughout the resort.
Mickey’s Mix Magic – a new nightly projection show, starts on January 18, 2019. State-of-the-art projections, lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., the water screens of the Rivers of America and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a colorful display of sights and sounds to celebrate Mickey Mouse. On select nights, “Mickey’s Mix Magic” will be enhanced with the addition of fireworks.
Tropical Hideaway, a new food marketplace in Adventureland, will replace the former Aladdin’s Oasis.
Disneyland After Dark returns with two new events in 2019: Sweethearts’ Nite on February 7 and 90s Nite on March 7.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland in Summer 2019 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Late Fall 2019.
Lunar New Year Celebrating the Year of the Pig – January 25 -February 17, 2019. In addition to Mulan and Mushu, “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” will feature the Three Little Pigs. Food marketplaces will offer special Asian cuisine, and other live entertainment and activities will be available.
Captain Marvel will encounter guests in Hollywood Land in early 2019.
Disney California Food and Wine Festival returns March 1-April 23, 2019. Over a dozen Festival Marketplaces will showcase foods and beverages inspired by California cuisine. This year’s Festival will include family-friendly seminars and culinary demonstrations, and live musical entertainment.
Inside Out Emotional Whirl, a family-friendly attraction, will open in the Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood of Pixar Pier in 2019.
Jessie’s Critter Carousel, inspired by Jessie’s animal friends from “Woody’s Roundup” will open in the Toy Story Boardwalk neighborhood of Pixar Pier in 2019.
“a bug’s land” closed permanently on September 5, 2018, making way for the construction of the new Marvel Super Heroes land which will open sometime in 2020.
