NEWS: FIRST LOOK at Beak & Barrel Signs at Magic Kingdom

We are just a few days away from the grand opening of a brand-new Magic Kingdom lounge, The Beak and Barrel! This Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern opens on August 29th, 2025, and Disney just shared an exciting new addition.

The Beak and Barrel officially has signs up to welcome visitors! Disney Parks shared two photos of the newly installed Beak and Barrel signs, and we are getting even more excited.

With just over a week until the opening of this new lounge, it is exciting to see more elements being installed. We can’t wait to see this new lounge in person!

Reservations finally opened up for The Beak and Barrel on August 20th at 7 PM ET, and reservations booked up FAST! This was after the reservation system hit some rough seas on the initial reservation date, August 14th, resulting in Disney postponing the date for reservations becoming available.

However, reservations are now available, although reservations booked up for at least a month less than half an hour to reservations being available. These are definitely going to be popular reservations for a least a bit, so if you are hoping to grab one for your trip, you will need to be quick!

The Beak and Barrel is themed to the Pirates of the Caribbean, and was established by a legendary pirate rumrunner, Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn. Rummy, her first mate is the tavern’s quartermaster and keeps an eye on the lounge from a roost at the top. The lounge will feature some options for food as well as plenty of drink choices. The lounge is also offering non-alcoholic options, too!
