The new giga dive roller coaster is based on the running of the bulls in Spain and is located in Rancho de la Tormenta, a new Spanish-themed village in Six Flags Over Texas. At 309 feet high, the roller coaster is the tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster in the world. It will also drop riders a record-breaking 285 feet at a beyond-vertical 95 degrees.

The roller coaster will then speed riders through its track at a whopping 87 mph, which will include the highest Immelman inversion in the world at 218 feet and the tallest vertical loop in the world at 179 feet. It also has the longest track in the world at 4,199 feet.

According to Six Flags, the roller coaster’s opening was delayed due to the commissioning and testing process taking longer than expected. However, the park promised that this “ensures that when Tormenta charges out of the gates, it will be a ride experience worthy of its name—bold, intense, and unforgettable.”
