NEW Look at the Food Coming to the Disney Adventure

I don’t know about you, but ever since Disney Cruise Line started releasing details for the Disney Adventure, I’ve been looking up flights to Singapore. This ship is taking the idea of what a cruise ship can be and pushing it to the next level.

One way they’ve been doing this is with dining experiences. While we’ve known about the restaurants for a bit, Disney just dropped a new sneak peek at some menu items coming. Don’t blame me if you start looking at flights, too!

First up at the Enchanted Summer Restaurant, which features Tangled and Frozen in a cozy village dining hall, you can try the Jackfruit (Kathal) Masala Kosha Taco, which is made with tempered dahl, water chestnut, and black garlic raita.

At Animator’s Palate, a common cartoon-style restaurant on many Disney Cruise Line ships, and Animator’s Table, you can have the Laksa Lemak with prawn, tau pok, laksa leaf, and chili, and…

Check out this Bread Curd Fire Roll (Dahi Ke Sholay) made with cashew butter toast, dates, and coriander chutney at Mowgli’s Eatery, one of the quick service options throughout the ship.

The Hollywood Spotlight Club will offer Yellow Fin Tuna and Prawns Mumbai Bhel made with sweet corn, rice puffs, avocado, cilantro, aioli, and tamarind. This dining spot will have special appearances from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck in their fancy attire.

One restaurant that I can’t get over is Mike & Sulley’s Flavors of Asia, which is a Japanese steakhouse inspired by the Monsters, Inc. movie. If it’s always been your dream to eat at Harryhausen’s, you can at this upgraded dining experience. Don’t forget to try the Taraba Kani Chawanmushi made with tempura Alaska crab, egg custard, and yanagi matutake mushroom while you’re there!

The other premium dining is Palo Trattoria, which is adults only and will serve a Pure Blood Sanchoku Wagyu Striploin made with pink peppercorn, broccolini, and yakiniku sauce.

At the Concierge Kitchen, you can have the gorgeous Pacific Scallops with cremini-arborio, hazelnut, and sylvetta arugula.

While my favorite has to be Mike & Sulley’s Flavors of Asia to live out my childhood dream, I can’t deny that all of this food sounds so good.
