When you board a Disney cruise ship, everyone knows you’re in for a good time. Disney characters? Check! Excellent food? Check! Gorgeous views of the ocean? Check! But soon, a NEW kind of Disney Cruise ship will debut, and it’s set to be the ultimate adventure.
The Disney Adventure cruise ship is setting sail from Singapore starting December 15th, 2025. That’s right — we’re going to Singapore for an epic cruise on a NEW mega-ship. There is SO MUCH to see and do onboard the Adventure, and now, Disney just shared some new details about what to expect!
The Disney Adventure will join the Disney Cruise Line fleet as the seventh ship. While it promises to have all the charm and amenities of the other Disney Cruise Line ships, the Adventure is unlike the other Disney cruise ships in a few key ways. First of all, this ship is MUCH larger. Plus, its home port will be located in Singapore. But we’re also expecting new dining, new entertainment, new attractions, and even new shopping!
Speaking of shopping, Disney just dropped some big news about the stores onboard the Disney Adventure. Get ready for some new retail offerings and a few returning cruise favorite shopping locations!
OK, this first one might sound familiar if you’ve been to the Disney Parks. Disney just announced that a World of Disney store will debut aboard the Disney Adventure. This is where you’ll find familiar Cruise Line favorites and some never-before-seen designs “inspired by the rich natural beauty and cultural icons of Southeast Asia.”
In fact, here’s a preview of some of the merchandise you’ll find at the World of Disney store!
But WAIT! There’s more. Get ready for the FIRST National Geographic Store on a Disney Cruise Line ship! This shop will be offering a line of exclusive co-branded merchandise.

Up next is something we know a LOT of people are going to love: the Duffy and Friends Shop. This one is inspired by Duffy and all his friends, dressed in nautical-themed outfits.
Actually, Duffy will have a pretty big presence on the Disney Adventure — there’s even going to be a new show called “Duffy and The Friend Ship,” happening at the Disney Imagination Garden stage!
That’s not, though! Look out for a special meet and greet with Duffy and his friends, and go on a special Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest. If you complete the interactive ship-wide adventure, you’ll earn a special commemorative gift! As you can see, Duffy is having a MOMENT.
If you’re a concierge guest, you’ve got even MORE shopping options thanks to the “elevated shopping experience” at Palace Treasures and 3 Wishes. Palace Treasures is an exclusive store with luxury goods and fine jewelry, while 3 Wishes is a boutique with one-of-a-kind apparel, souvenirs, and collectibles exclusively for concierge guests.
Oh, and some familiar favorites are returning, too, like Diamonds & Wishes and Treasures Untold. These shops will sell a mix of luxury items, limited-edition collectibles, and high-end accessories.
Currently, this ship is under construction in Germany, and once completed, it will have its home port in Singapore. We can expect to see Disney, Marvel, and Pixar stories aboard this new ship.
The ship will finally be ready to set sail on her maiden voyage on December 15th, 2025, out of Singapore.
