REVIEW: “This May Have Changed My Life!” We’re Trying TWO New EPCOT Snacks

Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Welcome to Disney World!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Connections Eatery at EPCOT and are bringing you our FULL review!

Background

At EPCOT in World Celebration, you’ll find Connections Eatery. It’s the largest quick-service restaurant in the park with lots of indoor seating and a modern design.

Connections Eatery!

It’s also connected to Connection Cafe, which is the park’s Starbucks! It was the first major part of the EPCOT transformation, so it’s been around for a few years now.

Let’s check out the inside!

Atmosphere

The atmosphere of this restaurant is modern and spacious!

Seating!

You can mobile order at this spot if you want, but there is also the option to order at the kiosk. Whatever floats your boat!

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

We grabbed the new food options, starting with the Peruvian Salad for $11.29! It’s made up of field greens, sweet potatoes, avocado, chuclo, onions, sweety drop peppers, canchita, and a spiced sesame vinaigrette!

The Peruvian Salad

This salad knocked it out of the park! It had so many textural elements that came together to make a genuinely interesting salad, which you don’t often find in the parks. It had some interesting chewy elements that pair well with the crunch of the lettuce.

Have a bite!

The peppers burst when you bite into them, the canchita was dried and crunchy, and the vinaigrette pulled it all together thanks to its sweet, light, and fresh flavors. It was a great summer salad and an awesome plant-based option. We would like to add a bit of protein to this one, but if you just need a good salad, this will be the one to grab.

A bit of a closer look.

To wash it all down, we grabbed the Belgian Chocolate Gelato Shake for $7.49! This one blew us away!

Belgian Chocolate Gelato Shake

To put it simply, our reporter’s exact words were “Oh my gosh, this gelato shake may have just changed my life“. It was rich, creamy, and less milky than a traditional milkshake. It was super rich, and the chocolate had a deep flavor.

The items together!

It felt like an elevated chocolate shake while being very refreshing in the heat!

Magic or Tragic?

This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…

    • You need something easy and refreshing
    • You need indoor seating
    • You have picky eaters in your group

You should skip this Disney World spot if…

    • You want something adventurous
    • You’re looking for a more “hidden gem” experience
    • You don’t enjoy a more crowded dining environment

This is a spot we’ve been to time and time again, so we are thrilled to see these two items knock it out of the park in a spot that sometimes misses the mark.
