Under Construction - May 27thFuture World East : EPCOTGuardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind The Guardians of Galaxy themed coaster will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world and feature a brand-new ride system. Disney has shared that the ride will open in Summer 2022.
Under Construction - TBDTomorrowland : Magic KingdomTRON: Lightcycle Run TRON Lightcycle Run is coaster-style attraction, in which riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. It offers access into the energy, lights and excitement of TRON's high-tech universe and is one of the most thrilling adventures.
Dec 2018 - TBDMain Street USA : Magic KingdomWalt Disney World Railroad The Walt Disney World Railroad will cease running and will sit "in residence" at its Main Street Station while work progresses on the new Tron coaster coming to Tomorrowland. This will give guests the chance to have an up-close look at the railroad and take advantage of some unique photo opportunities.
Mar 2020 - Jun. 13Disney's Animal Kingdom : Walt Disney WorldFinding Nemo: The Musical Disney has announced that Finding Nemo: The Musical has permanently closed as we know it to be reimagined with a new storyline based on the same classic characters. The new show will be named Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! and is set to open sometime in summer 2022.
2020 - CLOSEDPolynesian : Disney ResortsSpirit Of Aloha Disney has confirmed that Spirit of Aloha will not be returning after its closure at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mar 2020 - Mar. 31, 2022All Star Sports : Disney ResortsDisney's All-Star Sports Resort Reopening All-Star Sports Resort will reopen on March 31st, 2022. Guests can begin booking their stays at the hotel on December 22nd, 2021.
Nov. 2021 - Apr. 23rdEPCOT : Walt Disney WorldSouk-al-Magreb The Souk-al-Magreb store will be closed in EPCOT's Morocco Pavilion through February 5th, 2022.
Early Jan. - Late Feb.Art of Animation : Disney ResortsFlippin' Fins Pool The Flippin’ Fins Pool is set to close at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for refurbishment beginning in early January 2022 through late February 2022. During this time, other pool and recreation offerings will still be open including The Big Blue Pool and Cozy Cone Pool.
Jan. - AprilAnimal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village : Disney ResortsSamawati Springs Pool Samawati Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village will be unavailable from January 2022 through April 2022. The other pool, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Jambo House will remain open during the closure.
Jan. 2 - TBDBlizzard Beach : Water ParksDisney's Blizzard Beach Water Park January 1st, 2022, will be the last day for guests to visit Blizzard Beach before it closes for refurbishment for an unknown amount of time. As of January 2nd, Blizzard Beach will be closed, and there is currently no reopening date listed on Disney World’s calendar.
Jan. 4 - Apr. 16Disney's Animal Kingdom : Walt Disney WorldExpedition Everest Expedition Everest — Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will be closed for a lengthy refurbishment beginning January 4th through April 16th, 2022.
Jan. 10 - Feb. 10Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney WorldSplash Mountain Splash Mountain will close for routine maintenance in Magic Kingdom from January 10th through February 10th, 2022.
Feb. 7 - Mid-MarchArt of Animation : Disney ResortsSchoolyard Splashground From February 7 through mid-March, the Schoolyard Splashground near the Big Blue pool will be unavailable at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
Feb. 14 - Mid-MarchSaratoga Springs : Disney ResortsGrandstand Leisure Pool The Grandstand Leisure Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close from February 14th through mid-March 2022. During this time the High Rock Spring Pool and the Paddock Pool will remain open for guests.
Feb. 14 - Feb. 18Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney WorldBig Thunder Mountain Railroad Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close for “routine maintenance” in Magic Kingdom from February 14th-18th, 2022.
Late Feb. - Mid-AprilArt of Animation : Disney ResortsCozy Cone Pool The Cozy Cone Pool will close at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for refurbishment in Late February 2022 through mid-April 2022. At that time, The Big Blue Pool and Flippin’ Fins Pool will remain open.

Aug. 15 - TBDPolynesian : Disney ResortsKona Cafe Kona Cafe will close for refurbishment starting on August 15th, 2022. During this time, guests will still be able to order from Kona Island. You’ll be able to use the My Disney Experience app and place a Mobile Order. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings will all be available.
Sept. 19th - TBDEPCOT : Walt Disney WorldThe American Adventure The American Adventure show will be closed for refurbishment beginning on Sept. 19th.
