Tips about Epcot, Food & Beverage, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Mousecellaneous and Resorts
ALL PARKS - We read complaints about some of the attractions being too loud so we carried a set of earplugs in our fanny packs and found that they helped tremendously! We could still hear well, but our ears were much more comfortable. The earplugs don't take up any room at all either! - Diane Taylor

When seeing the new Star Wars fireworks at Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to get a spot directly facing the Chinese Theater. Because the main part of the theater is set back from the rest, those viewing the show from the sides (like my family and me) will miss about two-thirds of what is projected onto it. Also, scenes are projected onto the buildings adjacent to the theater, but where we were (to the right) trees blocked much of that view. I'll try to reserve my judgment for when I can see the show from the center, but my first impression (the night it opened) was underwhelming. - Bill P.
EDITOR'S NOTE: We agree with Bill, and will add another tip -- be sure to stand in front of the two projection towers if at all possible, otherwise the fireworks will also be partially or completely obscured for you.

EPCOT - On Spaceship Earth, wheelchair guests should see the Cast Member in front of the attraction. You will then be taken to another area to board the ride vehicles. Wheelchair guests need to transfer from the wheelchair to a ride vehicle.

EPCOT - Spaceship Earth is a continuous-loading ride and the line moves at a steady pace. Even so, do not wait in a long line for Spaceship Earth. Many people will stop here first thing, as it is the first attraction you see upon entering the park. Later in the day, there is little if any line for Spaceship Earth.

EPCOT - My name is Devon, and I am 9. My mom told me you want to know what kids' favorite things are in Epcot. My first trip was last year and my favorite thing was to get a passport and have it stamped at all the countries. What made it really fun is before we went, I learned some phrases in each language so i could talk to the people in each country. I learned Hello, Goodbye, My name is Devon, Thank you and Please in French, German, Norwegian, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, and Italian. I also tried to count 1-10. The people were happy that I learned some of their language and in France they said I spoke it like a native! I had a lot of fun, trying to learn so many languages, and speaking to people from all over. It was hard to start because I am kinda shy, but the people were all very nice to me, and helped me if I didn't pronounce a word right. I hope other kids will try this. - Devon & Melissa Rinn
