HUGE Hollywood Studios Change Starts Next Week…and Muppets Fans Will Love It

Summer is just around the corner, and some BIG changes are on the horizon in Disney World.

We’re eagerly awaiting new rides, entertainment, snacks, and more! One thing we’re the most excited for is Muppet-y, thrilling, and it’s opening VERY soon.

After months of waiting (and over a year after the first announcement), we are so close to riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets! The rethemed ride has been closed since March 2026, and Disney has slowly been giving us sneak peeks leading up to the ride’s official reopening.

Guests will head into G-Force Records, which was taken over by Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse. He’s in charge now, and they decided to give the studio a full makeover. We are headed back into the studio to go on a VIP Tour. On the same day as our tour, the Electric Mayhem is about to headline their biggest concert ever… but they are busy inside the studio, and no one can find them!

Because they’re the Muppets, chaos ensues, and we end up on a high-flying ride to get to the Electric Mayhem to their concert. Disney has already shared that guests will be able to hear this setlist on the ride:

• “Song 2” by The Electric Mayhem
• “Born To Be Wild” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken
• “Love Rollercoaster” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson and Questlove
• “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Def Leppard
• “Walking on Sunshine” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Kelly Clarkson

They’ve also already given us a sneak peek at the ride’s pre-show, which features an incredible Scooter animatronic! In the pre-show, the Electric Mayhem can be heard singing their hit song “Can You Picture That” before Beaker accidentally blows up one of the walls in the studio!

It’s not just about the songs, and they show through! Disney has also confirmed there will be tons of new merchandise and a new snack stand outside of the attraction inspired by the Swedish Chef.

The ride officially opens on May 26th, 2026, and we can’t WAIT to get crazy with the Muppets. Previews for the attraction begin this week. As always, be sure to keep following AllEarsNet for more Disney reminders, news, updates, and more.
