We share hacks for your Disney World vacation all the time to make sure you make the best of it.

However, the parks are always changing, and that means that some tips stay, some evolve, and some go away entirely. We keep up with all those changes so we can update you ASAP about how to adjust your plans, but we have to say — there’s one tip that hasn’t changed in DECADES (and we have a sneaking suspicion never really will) that SO many people aren’t using and it could save you tons of money. It feels illegal, we know, but yes, you CAN bring your own food and drink into the parks with you!
It’s true! There are some parameters around what containers are allowed, such as the fact that no items (except for baby food) can be in glass containers, and if you’re bringing a cooler to keep your food cold throughout the day, it has to be smaller than 24″ long x 15″ wide x 18″ high, but otherwise, you’re in the clear!

Yes, this means you could totally bring all three meals, plus snacks, and not spend a dime in the parks! It’s a fantastic way to save money, and while we’ll be honest and say we think trying some Disney snacks is part of the experience, if bringing your own food is the only way you and your family/group can visit the parks without breaking the bank, then go for it!

If you’re driving to Disney World, it’s easier to pack a cooler in the car and bring snacks/meals from home on the drive, or you can stop by a grocery store close by to your accommodation and stock up. However, if you’re flying in and you’re not renting a car, don’t be discouraged, there’s a solution for you!

This is where Kroger Delivery comes in! While you won’t find a Kroger store in Central Florida, they do have a fulfillment center that can bring fresh groceries to your hotel (yes, even Disney World hotels!). Arrive at your hotel, place your order, and have groceries delivered to last you your whole trip delivered and get ready to pack your bags each day.

This is also a great way to help ensure that pickier eaters or kiddos that have very specific diets (as well as adults, especially if there are food allergies involved) are still eating well on vacation and aren’t stressed about finding options that work for them in the parks.
