There are so many changes happening in Disney World! DinoLand, U.S.A. is going to start disappearing soon, Frontierland is being overhauled, and so many new attractions are coming soon.

We’ve now spotted some evidence of changes taking place over in EPCOT!

EPCOT has such a special place in our hearts. It went through some major updates last year, like the opening of CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall, with those infamous walls finally coming down! Well… now there are some walls back up.

Luckily these walls are much smaller and less of a problem than their predecessors (if you don’t know what we’re talking about, count yourself lucky.) You can find this construction right behind Spaceship Earth at the entrance of the park in World Celebration, and we are super excited about what will eventually be behind them!

These walls are the first signs of the brand-new Spaceship Earth Lounge coming in 2025! This new lounge will be on the backside of the iconic EPCOT ride and will be inspired by the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of the EPCOT attraction. Disney has also described this lounge as a space that “intertwines the legacy of Spaceship Earth and EPCOT itself.”

The lounge will feature nods to the park and attraction, as well as fireworks views. You will be able to find “delicious culinary creations” as well as some specialty beverages.

We are super excited to see this spot open sometime in late Spring 2025. Now that the walls are up, it is becoming all too real that we are getting another lounge soon. EPCOT isn’t the only one getting a lounge though! The Spaceship Earth lounge is joining the ranks with the brand-new Pirates  Lounge over in Magic Kingdom.

This lounge is also slated to open in 2025, so you can bet we’ll be waiting on pins and needles to try everything at both of these news spots. Don’t forget to keep following along with AllEars for all of your latest Disney news and updates.
