CONFIRMED: 3 Popular Animal Kingdom Spots Permanently CLOSE Next Week

We can’t believe the time is almost here, but it’s true.

It’s January, which means the 2025 changes we’ve talked so long about are now beginning to happen. And one of the first ones? Well, some of our favorite DinoLand U.S.A. spots are closing FOR GOOD in just one week.

On January 13th, three locations in DinoLand, U.S.A. will officially be closed for good when the park opens for the day (meaning the 12th is the last day to experience them).

The first of them is an attraction (NOT Dinosaur, don’t panic!) — TriceraTop Spin will officially take its final flight on January 12th before it goes extinct. This Dumbo-style attraction has been a hit with kids for many years, but it’s finally time to say goodbye.

In the same area, Chester & Hester’s DinoRama will also be going away. If that name doesn’t sound familiar, it’s where Fossil Fun Games is located, which is all the carnival games you find over there. All of these will be closing on January 13th as well to make way for the new Tropical Americas land.

Finally, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, one of the shopping locations in DinoLand, will also be closed on January 13th. In fact, we’ve already seen some of the displays in this shop be taken away in preparation for the closure.

We’re sad to see this area go, but we’re excited to see the new Tropical Americas transformation. While we know it’ll be awhile until we see the transformation and we’ll be dealing with walls for months and months on end, we’re hoping it’ll be worth it in the end.
