PHOTOS: A NEW MagicBand+ Scavenger Hunt is LIVE in Disney's Hollywood Studios

MagicBand+ has officially launched in Disney World, and we’re having fun with all of the new features!

These bands can interact with nighttime shows around the resort, bring character statues to life, and immerse us even further into the world of Star Wars. And, speaking of Star Wars, check out how MagicBand+ turned us into Batuu Bounty Hunters today!

We arrived at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios with one mission — to find the bounties! In order to partake in this mission, we needed a MagicBand+, as well as an updated Play Disney Parks App.

Of course, we weren’t the only ones with that mission. Quite a few guests were joining us in the Batuu Bounty Hunters’ Guild. (The more the merrier!)

Remember those hedges that blocked the area across from Savi’s Workshop? That’s exactly where you’ll find the Job Board! We scanned our MagicBand+, were assigned a target, and began our mission.

Your MagicBand+ lights up to show you where your target is. Red means you’re getting further away, green means you’re getting closer, and purple means you’ve located your target! If you’re struggling, don’t worry — we caught Cast Members giving some assistance to guests.

Upon finding our target, we scanned them into the Play Disney Parks App! There are 20 bounty missions, so you could easily spend a ton of time enjoying this new feature.
