ALERT! Disney's MagicBand+ is Available Online NOW

MagicBand+ has officially launched in Disney World!

MagicBand+

MagicBand+ is the successor to the original MagicBand and includes all of the traditional functionality plus some interactive new features, as well! It’s available in the Disney World parks with a bunch of different designs and colors, but if you can’t make it to the parks, don’t worry, because it’s available online, too!

You can purchase MagicBand+ online at shopDisney. Let’s take a look at what’s available! First, you can get several solid colors — these MagicBands are $34.99 each. So far, the available color options are black, light pink, navy, cream, and red.

However, you can also get some fun designs for $44.99 each, like this Cinderella Castle MagicBand+. It’s a pink MagicBand with Cinderella Castle on it with the 50th anniversary logo.

It also has a fun 50th anniversary pattern in gold on the sides.

Disney World resort guests can get discounts on these MagicBands if they purchase the bands ahead of their trip through the Disney World website. With MagicBand+ you’ll be able to get into the parks, access your Disney World hotel room, scan into rides for which you have reserved Lightning Lanes, and pay for things at locations all around Disney World.

With a MagicBand+, you will also be able to play a bunch of interactive games like the Fab 50 Scavenger Hunt where you go around the parks and interact with the gold 50th Anniversary statues, or Batuu Bounty Hunters in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which enables you to hunt for your bounty around Galaxy’s Edge.

The release of MagicBand+ does not mean that the original MagicBands are going away. They will still be available and you will still be able to use them the same way you always have been.
