Disney World has been making a ton of changes lately that affect the guest experience.

The introduction of Genie+, the return of parades, and even bringing back meet and greets have all had an impact on how people do Disney World. From time to time, Disney likes to get feedback directly from guests about their parks, and we just got a survey sent to us as well!
After a recent visit to EPCOT, we were emailed a survey to take about our experience and about our opinions on certain attractions.

First, they asked when we arrived…

…and when we left. This was probably just to gauge how much time we spent in the park.

Then they started asking about character meet and greets! They first asked how our group would feel about waiting in a 30 minute line to meet a character like Mickey Mouse (who is only available through character dining at the park right now).

And then, they asked about if we had waited to meet Mickey, would we have expected to be able to hug him.

They also asked about our group’s current feelings about character dining experiences in the park. The answers were things like being uninterested in character dining or being interested but not booking because of “lower perceived value.”

At one point, we were asked to choose categories that applied to us, like being a Disney+ subscriber, a Disney Vacation Club Member, or a Costco Member.

At the end, we were asked to go through several attractions and select each term that we thought applied to that attraction. The terms included iconic, personal favorite, immersive, boring, dated, and offensive.

The attractions we were asked to label were Gran Fiesta Tour…

…Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360…

…Journey Into Imagination With Figment…

…and Reflections of China.

Finally, we were asked about out general attitude towards change at EPCOT (and there is a LOT of change happening at EPCOT right now!). The choices ranged between change is good with a few exceptions to saying you generally don’t like change.

Such interesting questions, right? Disney might be asking the character questions to see if or when they should bring regular meet and greets back. And, the attraction and change questions could possibly influence if we see changes happen to those rides in the future. Stay tuned to All Ears for more Disney World news and updates.
