Planning a trip to Orlando for spring break this year? We’ve got some news that could impact your travel.

Traditionally, spring break is one of the busiest travel times of the year in Orlando. But despite the typical increase in traffic, one airline has reduced their Orlando flights during the season, as the shakeup of travel schedules continues.
Orlando Business Journal reported that American Airlines has cut back on flights to Orlando International Airport at the peak of the spring break travel season.

An analysis found that dozens of American Airlines flights to Orlando International Airport in March were cut over the course of a week. While 1,571 American Airlines flights were listed on the March schedule as of January 3rd, a week later, that number was reduced to 1,509, a decrease of 4%.

Brian Metham, an American Airlines spokesperson, has said the adjustments are intended to better align the carrier’s resources with demand. “Even with these schedule adjustments, American continues to offer the most departures in the month of March among the major U.S. carriers.”

We’ll continue to be on the lookout for additional news that could impact your travel to Orlando, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest updates.
