Warning⚠️ This Video of Winnie the Pooh Saving a Butterfly WILL Make You Cry

Winnie the Pooh is one of those special Disney characters that can deliver a smile to everyone.

In EPCOT, you can find Winnie the Pooh as a golden statue (hanging out with Piglet!) and in person at socially distanced meet and greets. Today we had the opportunity — no — HONOR of witnessing Winnie the Pooh being a real life hero to a tiny creature. Get ready for 120 seconds of pure joy.

We’ve spotted Winnie the Pooh hanging around EPCOT with his trusty butterfly net many times, but we’ve never seen him actually USE his net! Today a sweet little butterfly was struggling on the ground near Pooh, and he understood the assignment. Operation: Rescue Butterfly was born and Pooh was just the bear for the job!

We kind of wondered if it might just be a leaf but it actually was a REAL butterfly! Pooh’s first rescue attempt wasn’t successful and he stomped his feet in frustration. After taking a second to rethink his plan, he saved the butterfly on his second try! As he carefully returned the butterfly to safety, we might have teared up a bit. Or a lot.

So now you know that in Disney World, Winnie the Pooh’s butterfly net can be used for real life butterfly rescue missions, and Pooh is a heroic bear. We’re so proud of you, Pooh!
