One of the best parts about riding a new ride at Disney World is trying to find all of the hidden details and easter eggs.

If there’s one thing Disney does better than anyone else, it’s adding little details in everything that they do. We finally got to ride the highly anticipated Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we noticed tons of details that guests might miss! Want to find out what they are?
After Muppets Courtyard closed in June of 2025, to welcome in the upcoming Monsters Inc. Land, the beloved characters have taken over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and we’re sharing all the hidden details you might have missed!

A lot of changes have been made to the attraction’s exterior, which we were checking up on lots during the construction of the ride, since it closed on March 2nd. We’ve gotten to see the changes progress over the past couple of months, and now that it’s fully complete, you can see some unique details — including our first Easter egg. One of the piano keys is painted gold — a reference to the Electric Mayhem’s frontman and keyboardist, Dr. Teeth.

The pre-show now features a Scooter animatronic and penguin animatronics, but something you might want to keep an eye out for is hanging behind Scooter on the wall. The black Gibson Les Paul guitar was in the Aerosmith version of the ride, and Joe Perry referenced it when asking “Chris” to grab his guitar. You’ll also spot Kermit’s banjo on the wall!

If you look at the mug in Scooter’s hand, it says, “Hey, hey, hey,” which is a reference to the old preshow, when Aerosmith’s manager said the same thing.

There is also a stack of PizzeRizzo pizza boxes, as a nod to the old quick-service restaurant at Hollywood Studios. This one really stings. Oh, and someone might ask if you want Backstage Passes, so make sure you listen for that — it’s another reference to the Aerosmith version of the ride.

Following the preshow, you’ll find a hallway with a ton of Employee of the Month photos featuring Scooter, but next to them is a photo of actor Ken Marino’s “Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award” as a “G-Force Legend.” Marino was in the original preshow as a sound engineer.

Once you get to the ride loading zone, keep an eye out for the Muppet Mobile Lab! It’s a two-wheeled science-lab vehicle that resembles a small rocket ship. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker used to drive the Mobile Lab around Disney World, Disneyland, and even Hong Kong Disneyland.

In the area where you wait for the front row, you’ll find blueprints for the L.I.M.O. that say, “Make it a stretch, make it a super stretch,” which is also a reference to the Aerosmith version of the ride.

Endless references to Muppet*Vision 3D abound here, too. There’s a Miss Piggy record that says it “Includes an unreleased huge, show-stopping, major song from Miss Piggy,” and Kermit reminds the band that they only have “a minute and a half” before the show. This is a reference to when Sam Eagle would promise a “glorious three-hour finale,” before Kermit says, “You’ve got a minute and a half.”

Near the beginning of the ride, you’ll want to look for a large sign advertising PizzeRizzo, too. It looks pretty similar to the sign that used to be on top of the old restaurant building in Muppets Courtyard, and it may be!
Don’t worry, Sweetums also makes an appearance!

And finally, the Statler and Waldorf animatronics from Muppet*Vision 3D can be found toward the end. They’re up to their usual shenanigans, including, “We can’t, you old fool! We’re bolted to the seats!” Which is a direct callback to their dialogue from Muppet*Vision 3D.

Which Easter egg are you looking forward to seeing the most?!
