Disney World CONFIRMS Early Entry Change for This Summer

We’ve got exciting news out of Disney World — specifically Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Currently, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is under construction and will be open sometime this summer for fans to enjoy. While no specific opening date has been announced just yet, we know Disney is planning ahead for the near future, because the new ride has been added to TWO important lists!

Back on March 6th, it was confirmed that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets would be part of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which was a very welcome announcement (had it been part of Lightning Lane Single Pass, it would have been an additional cost on top of Multi Pass, should a guest choose to purchase both). Now, we’ve got even more news to share!

Disney has confirmed that this new version of the classic ride will also be available for Disney World hotel guests during Early Entry, as well as Extended Evening Hours. With how popular we expect this ride to be when it opens, this will help lots of guests bypass some pretty long lines. While Early Entry is available for all Disney World hotel guests each morning in all four theme parks, Extended Evening Hours is only available for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels, only on certain days.

Early Entry happens 30 minutes before the regular park opening time, giving every hotel guest who uses it a head start. Extended Evening Hours, on the other hand, happen on certain nights at specific parks for two hours.

With these new announcements, we’re hoping Disney may release the opening date for this attraction sooner rather than later, so we can all plan our trips!
