5 Things Cast Members Wish You’d Stop Doing in the France Pavilion

Bonjour from France! The France pavilion in EPCOT that is!

France Pavilion

From giant croissants, beautiful landscaping, and arguably the best ice cream at Disney World, there is a lot to love about EPCOT’s France Pavilion. Of course, the Cast Members make it special and help bring the French culture to life here. That’s why we’re here to kindly remind you to stop doing these things when visiting the pavilion.

Getting in the Fountains

There have been a few instances of guests getting into the fountains in the France pavilion. Cast Members are begging you to stop doing this, as it is a safety issue.  You could be escorted out of the park as well, and it’s just not worth it for 4 seconds of cool water. This should also include dipping your cooling neck towel in the fountain or drinking from the fountain. Both are very unsanitary, and honestly, we’re judging you.

Trying to Take Advantage of Single Rider

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure added a single rider line in 2025, and because this ride has a long queue at times, it’s a great way to get on the attraction with potentially a shorter wait. However, guests should know that if you and other people from your party are in the single rider line, you will be separated. Do not get in line thinking it’s basically a Lightning Lane, and then get mad at the Cast Members who separate you.

Parking Your Stroller in the Wrong Place

Speaking of Remy’s, if you are parking a stroller before heading inside, you might miss it! You cannot simply park the stroller by the fountain in front of the attraction; instead, the stroller parking is further back, near the restrooms. If you leave your stroller somewhere else, Cast Members will have to move it.

Spilling Your Slush

Available at Les Vins des Chefs de France, the Grand Marnier Slush is a slushy cocktail that mixes smooth Grand Marnier liqueur with ice and orange flavor, like an upscale, boozy creamsicle. We won’t lie, these drinks are amazing; however, be careful when drinking them because they can easily be spilled if you aren’t paying attention. This could cause a mess for a CM to clean up.

Not Looking Up the Showtimes

In France, you’ll find two shows — the Beauty and the Beast Sing Along and Impressions de France. These actually split the day, and you want to be sure which one is playing before you take a seat. You can check daily times in the MyDisney Experience app before heading over.

The next time you’re visiting the France pavilion, be sure to keep these things in mind to make the cast members and you day easier. For more Disney World tips and news, be sure to follow AllEars.net.

  1. Let me mobile order from Les Halles already! Those with disabilities needing a wheelchair etc have a horrible time navigating that line, and then trying to be audible while seated to those behind the counter serving – that frankly most often aren’t as fluent in English as one would hope…. It’s a headache. The food is good. No need for the giant mess of a line. Extend and provide a window pickup.
