NEWS: Disney World Releases DATES for 2026 After Hours Events

If you’re visiting Disney World in 2026, you’ve probably done most of your trip planning by now (because we ALL plan those Disney World trips WAY in advance). You know when you’re going and where you’re staying.

Well, if you’ve been waiting to find out when Disney World will have After Hours events in the year, you’re in luck. Disney just released a full list of After Hours events in three of Disney World’s four parks for 2026.

After Hours events are separate ticketed events that let you stay in Disney World’s theme parks after the official closing time for a few extra hours. For the price of an After Hours ticket, you’ll get shorter wait times, a chance to meet characters, and free drinks and snacks to keep you going through the evening. Free snacks and drinks include ice cream novelties, popcorn, and bottled beverages.

Here are the 2026 After Hours events by park:

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom After Hours runs from 10 PM to 1 AM each event night. If you have an After Hours ticket, you do not need to make a park pass reservation, and you can enter the park as early as 7 PM. Tickets run from $175 to $199 per person.

The following rides will be open during After Hours: TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight, Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Mad Tea Party. There will also be surprise character encounters.

EPCOT

EPCOT After Hours has added an extra half hour in 2026. The event runs from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM on select evenings through September 24th, 2026. Those with an After Hours ticket can enter EPCOT as early as 7 PM. Event tickets are $155 to $179 per ticket.

The following rides will be available during After Hours: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Test Track presented by General Motors (NEW), Frozen Ever After, Soarin’, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, Living with the Land, Mission: SPACE, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Spaceship Earth.

Character meet and greets will also be available and could include Mickey at the Dreamer statue, Goofy at the DJ dance party in CommuniCore Plaza, and Minnie in the France gazebo.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After Hours events for Hollywood Studios typically run from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM. However, the May 30th event will run from 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM, while the September 12th event will run from 10 PM to 1 AM. Those with tickets can get into the park as early as 7 PM, though. Event tickets are $155 to $189 per ticket.

The following rides will be open during After Hours: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, Toy Story Mania!, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Surprise character encounters can also be expected.

Those staying at Disney World hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase After Hours at Disney World tickets starting on October 9th. Everyone else can get tickets starting on October 14th.
