Disney Can Pry This $46 Souvenir Out of My Cold Dead Hands

If you’ve ever wandered through Disney World (or honestly any Disney store), you already know the dangerous truth: sometimes the merch is just too good.

Plunderer’s Punch

There are souvenirs that you look at, say, “that’s a little pricey,” and then still hand over your money without a second thought because there’s no way you’re leaving without it. We’ve pulled together a few Disney souvenirs that we absolutely refuse to let go of — even if Mickey himself came knocking. Some of them you can snag online, others you’ll need to hunt down in the parks, and one of them? Well, let’s just say it cost nearly $50 and we would still buy it again tomorrow.

First up, we’ve got this Funko POP! Disney: Donald Duck Trick or Treat – Collectable Vinyl Figure.

Aw, phooey! Donald Duck never fails to bring the Halloween spirit, and this collectible Funko POP! might just be one of the cutest versions of him yet. Dressed up as a piece of candy corn, Donald is ready to hit the trick-or-treat trail — even though his candy bag has already burst open.

This little guy is 4.43 inches tall, making him the perfect shelf buddy for your Disney collection. The details are spot-on, the costume is adorable, and honestly? He’s kind of irresistible.

Next, we’ve got this Hoptimist Baby Bimble.

We can’t get enough of them

Okay, so full disclosure, this one isn’t technically a Disney-exclusive product, but we’ve spotted it for sale inside EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion — which means Disney fans are definitely bringing them home as park souvenirs.

We’re obsessed!

The Hoptimist Baby Bimble has been around since the late 1960s, created by Danish designer Gustav Ehrenreich. They’re basically little springy ornaments that “hop” when you touch them, designed to spread positivity and good vibes. These are bright, fun, and small enough to fit perfectly on a desk, shelf, or nightstand.

Look how many!

Made of durable plastic with a metal spring, these quirky little guys are both home décor and interactive toy. And while they’re fun to play with, they also have this mid-century Scandinavian design vibe that makes them look stylish anywhere.

Hoptimists!

You can snag one Amazon, but if you want that “I bought it at EPCOT” bragging right, you’ll have to pick it up in person at the Norway Pavilion.

Next, you’ve gotta check out this Glow in the Dark Donald Candy Corn Sipper.

Donald Candy Corn Sipper

Nothing says “Disney Halloween” like Donald Duck in his candy corn costume, and yes, they made him into a drink sipper. This guy glows in the dark, has a purple lanyard with Donald being chased by ghosts, and honestly might be one of the cutest seasonal cups Disney has ever made.

Prices vary depending on where you grab him — in the past, we’ve seen him for $13.50 at Walt Disney World and $22.79 at Disneyland. Either way, if you spot him on your trip, just know you’ll regret not buying him later.

Have a look at this Black Pearl Sipper.

This one you can’t buy online, but it’s too legendary not to mention. At Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can order a drink called the Polynesian Pearl. When you do, a giant clam shell behind the bar opens up, and your “pearl” souvenir cup is revealed. Most of them are a simple pearly white… but every once in a while, the clam shell reveals a Black Pearl.

We’ve had it happen to us before, and let us tell you — it felt like winning the Disney lottery. The drink itself (RumChata, Grand Marnier, cinnamon, tropical juices) is delicious, but the real prize is the cup. Since the Black Pearl is rare and totally random, it’s one of those souvenirs you’ll never want to part with.

Lastly, here’s the star of the show: the Pirate Skull Mug from The Beak and Barrel.

Plunderers Punch

Here’s the deal. When you order the Plunderer’s Punch, it costs you a hefty $46. That’s nearly fifty bucks for one drink. But you’re not really buying the drink — you’re buying the mug. This skull-shaped souvenir cup is absolutely gorgeous, detailed, and hefty enough to feel like real pirate loot. The cocktail itself (The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, lime, vanilla) is fruity, tropical, and not overpowering on the rum. But again… the mug is the real treasure here.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, we could’ve bought dinner with that money instead. But the moment we held that skull mug in our hands, we knew it was coming home with us. And if anyone tried to take it? Well, let’s just say they’d have to pry it out of our cold dead hands.

At the end of the day, Disney has a way of making souvenirs feel less like “stuff” and more like little pieces of magic you get to take home. Whether it’s a rare Black Pearl, a glow-in-the-dark Donald sipper, or that $46 pirate skull mug that feels like buried treasure, some things are just too special to ever part with. So if you see a souvenir that makes your Disney-loving heart skip a beat, do yourself a favor and grab it — because those are the keepsakes you’ll be holding onto for life.
