Why You Might Be CONFUSED on Your Next Trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios

There are a lot of changes going on in Disney World right now, namely in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Grand Avenue is preparing to close its doors in a few weeks to make way for the new Monsters, Inc. land to begin construction. TWO new shows are getting ready to hit the park and open on the same day (May 27th), but now, we’ve noticed something strange happening in Animation Courtyard. Three popular meet-and-greets have been moved to an entirely different location!

Earlier today, we noticed that Doc McStuffins, Fancy Nancy, and Vampirina were no longer listed as meeting in Animation Courtyard where their individual meet and greet locations are — instead, they’ve been moved to Echo Lake.

We headed over there, and sure enough, they all were greeting guests, as happy as ever, and we said hello to Fancy Nancy, but it struck us as odd.

Sure, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure opens in the theatre (that’s gone unused for YEARS) on May 27th, but would that cause the relocation of these meet and greets? Or perhaps it’s due to the temporary closure of Disney Junior Play and Dance! as Disney prepares for new experiences on May 27th?

We hope we’ll get to see our pals return to their normal spots soon, and really hope Disney Junior Dance Party closing in Disneyland this past March isn’t a bad open for the current Disney Junior show here and its characters.
