We’re now less than a month away from the debut of TWO new shows in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

On May 27th, both The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will open in Hollywood Studios (yes, both! On the same day!), and we’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for all the information about both new shows that we can find. Now, we caught something new on Disney’s website — Lightning Lane access has officially been CONFIRMED for one show!
When we went to check the My Disney Experience app, we noticed that the Lightning Lane icon now shows up on The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure page, meaning that when it opens, Lightning Lane reservations WILL be available for the show. (Pending any last-minute modifications on Disney’s end, of course.)

Now, it’s unclear right now if it will be part of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass, but we have a feeling the show will be available under the MultiPass system. Additionally, it looks like from what the My Disney Experience App is saying, our only clue to showtimes is that they’ll be between the hours of 9:15 AM and 7:15 PM regularly.

While we don’t have a full list of shows, we know at least two of the shows will happen each day at 9:15 AM and 7:15 PM. Disney hasn’t released the rest of the exact showtimes just yet.

This attraction will be a live stage show with Ariel, Eric, Flounder, and (for the first time ever) Ariel’s sisters! We’re SO looking forward to the new musical arrangements, stunning visuals, and extra surprises still under wraps. The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure is shaping up to be a must-see experience for anyone visiting Hollywood Studios this summer!

You may recall an OLD version of this show existed in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a while, but the show closed during the pandemic. The building has sat empty since then, so we cannot WAIT to see the updates!
