Disney Shares BEHIND THE SCENES Look at Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios

There are some incredible live shows around Disney World, but one of our absolute favorites is located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Here, each night (weather permitting), you’ll find Fantasmic! This is about a 30-minute show that runs once or twice each night (you’ll want to check your My Disney Experience App to see the most up-to-date information about shows when you’re visiting), and the story follows Mickey as you jump into his dreams that eventually turn into nightmares, and Sorcerer Mickey must fight his way out. It’s certainly a fan-favorite show, and if you’ve ever wanted a sneak peek behind the scenes, you won’t want to miss this!

Many social media users are saying they’d love to see the backstage secrets turned into a full documentary. Others shared that they’re technical theatre directors, or work behind the scenes in community theatre, and that working on Fantasmic! behind the scenes is a dream job for them.

While Disney does offer many behind the scenes tours around Disney World, such as the Behind The Seeds tour in EPCOT, the Wild Elephant Trek in Animal Kingdom, and the Keys of the Kingdom tour in Magic Kingdom, at this time, no public tours of Fantasmic! are offered. However, maybe we’ll see some added in the future!
