Going to Disney World already isn’t cheap, so you may be attempting to cut out any and all additional costs on your visit.

However, if you’ve been saving up for a while, you may WANT to splurge on something extra. This may be a fancy table service meal for your family, a souvenir or two you’ve had your eye on, or for some, it may be a special tour that Disney World offers! While it sounds like special tours would be extra expensive, you may be surprised to find out that this one is only $39!
Disney World offers all different kinds of behind the scenes tours that guests can purchase as add-ons for their vacations. Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can find the Caring for Giants tour for only $39 per person, plus tax!

This hour-long tour puts you with a knowledgeable tour guide who teaches you all about the African elephant herd. You’ll hear about the day-to-day care of the animals and hear stories about Disney’s conservation efforts. The best part? You’ll be within 100 feet of the elephants while you hear all about them!

This is a fantastic tour for all animal lovers out there, and a great way to upgrade your Disney World experience without breaking the bank. But if animals aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other affordable tours to check out, like the Behind The Seeds Tour in EPCOT!

This tour ranges from $39-$45 per person, plux tax, and takes guests behind the scenes of EPCOT’s greenhouses and fish farm that you see while riding Living With The Land in the Land Pavilion. It’s about an hour long and is perfect for fans of gardening, hydroponics, and science in general!

If tours aren’t really your thing, you can also check out the haircuts at the Harmony Barbershop — yes, it’s an actual barber shop! Getting an appointment is pretty difficult since there aren’t many slots each day, but it starts at $8 for a Beard Trim, $20 for a Child’s Haircut, $21 for an Adult Haircut, and $28 for a My First Haircut package.

While Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn’t known for being cheap, there ARE cheaper options available — it doesn’t have to cost you $100+ per child! The Knight Package starts at $19.95, the Deluxe Knight Package at $79.95, and while it still isn’t cheap, the cheapest option for a Princess makeover is The Carriage Package at $99.95.
