this ride needs to have two review sections! Mission green I would give an 8. So much fun and I love rides that are interactive. Mission orange on the other hand would get a NEGATIVE 10!! I do not get sick on rides. Ever! If this ride had gone on much longer, I would have put those barf bags to use! I know they tell you in the pre-show to keep your eyes open , but that was not working for me. With my eyes closed I was able to feel the spinning more (it wasn't the spinning that was making me sick though - it was the combo of spinning, movement and imagery that was doing it. so I had my eyes closed for most of the ride!)

Pros:

Green is a blast!

Cons:

Orange..Just DON'T!

This ride is essentially a human centrifuge to simulate the feeling of take off into space. There are warnings about motion sickness and such but you may not realize how it would affect you until after the ride starts. But there’s nothing you can do once the doors close. It was quite scary feeling trapped and I had to really focus to stay calm somehow. I started to panic because the screen/ control board moves in close to your face and there becomes very little space inside the pod. So if you’re even a little claustrophobic, I would avoid it. I’m fine with roller coasters but after this, I felt dizzy for several hours and impaired my enjoyable of the park afterward.

Pros:

Not applicable

Cons:

It’s a human centrifuge

Horrible. They don’t tell you that the simulator spins to make you feel the pressure of blast off and acceleration. We were sick for hours after and it basically ruined our day at Epcot.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Makes you feel sick due to the simulator spinning. The screens are individual and the quality is terrible so on top of the motion the visual is blurry. There is no panic button or any way to indicate that you feel sick and need it to end.

I have done both the "orange" (intense version) and the "green" (not so intense" version). The green was okay, still felt a little motion sick ( and I don't really get motion sick". The orange however...man....not for the faint of heart. I felt off for hours after that one

Pros:

Fun ride...stay with the green side

Cons:

Can get motion sick very easily.

I'm not one to get sick on rides but even the green mission (mild) was too much for my and I felt off for hours. I suppose it's the closest you'll get to going into space but it wasn't fun in my opinion and i felt too sick to really be educated much.

Pros:

It's an experience you can't get anywhere else.

Cons:

I can't imagine there is anyone who WOULDN'T get sick on this ride - even the mild mission.

One and done. Would not recommend. Gave to me and all my family motion sickness.

Pros:

LOve the space theme and could be great for people who actually want to train to be an astronaut

Cons:

Motion sickness pretty intense

I only rode mission space once, the first time being on orange, was a little intense but overall a cool experience. Second time was when I went on green. We got stuck and I had to sit in a claustrophobic space for 30 minutes until we were evacuated. We got lightning lanes to make for it so that's kind of cool lol. After being stuck in there I'm not going back on.

Pros:

cool if your into space, air conditioned, has 5 - 20 minute waits all the time, a lot like millennium falcon but screens closer to you. If you like millenium falcon smuggler run than check this out.

Cons:

not good for people who have claustrophobia, get dizzy or nauseous/throw up easily, or don't like outer space. (At one point the throw up situation got so bad they had to sell barf bags, which I saw people buy.)

It was terrible. The harness is so tight on you, it messes with your breathing. It also makes you want to puke. There is no safe word either, if you get in to this terrifying ride… you’re not getting out. It ruined my day, I could even ride the Nemo ride!

Pros:

Yolo

Cons:

Nausea, headache, ruin your day, good luck sleeping tonight, you feel like your spinning still.

My favorite ride at Disney, lots of people hate it so much and I don’t know why. I am a space/aviation nerd so I find g forces fun and this is a great ride to experience them, I also like how it is interactive and you can control the ship while riding. I recommend trying this ride if you have not already.

Pros:

Realistic simulation Interactive ride Stuff to look at in line

Cons:

Slight headache after riding Low resolution screens
