Disney World Just EXTENDED Park Hours for One of the Busiest Weeks of the Year

We’re well into the swing of the holiday season in Disney World!

Thousands of people are flocking to the parks to check out the Christmas decor, the limited-time snacks, and the general festivities…but things are about to get a lot more crowded. Next week is Thanksgiving, and the holiday typically brings heavy crowds as people have extra days off of work. However, we’ve got some good news if you’re traveling next week!

Disney World has updated the park hours for Thanksgiving week, which is November 24th-30th, 2024. Some of the park hours have now been extended!

Starting with Animal Kingdom, the park will be open from 8AM-7PM on Sunday-Tuesday. For the rest of the week, the hours are 8AM-6PM. Early Theme Park Entry starts at 7:30AM each day and Extended Evening Hours are available on Wednesday from 6PM-8PM.

At Hollywood Studios, you can visit the park from 9AM-9PM on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Monday, the park is open at 8:30PM and closes at 7PM, and on Saturday, it’s open from 9AM-7PM — both times closing early for Disney Jollywood Nights. Early Theme Park Entry is offered 30 minutes before park open each day as usual.

EPCOT will be open 9AM-9PM on Sunday-Thursday, and then stay open until 9:30PM on Friday and Saturday. On Monday, there will be Extended Evening Hours until 11PM.

Magic Kingdom is the most complicated of the group. On the days where Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is offered (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), the park will operate from 8AM-6PM.

On Monday and Thursday, it will be open from 8AM-11PM. Then on Saturday, the park will be open from 9AM-10PM.
