I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — deciding what to wear to Disney World is much harder than it appears to be!

Planning for the season itself can be difficult if you’re going during the spring or fall (those low early morning and late evening temperatures will get you!), but if you’re going during the summer, it’s hard to find clothes that you’ll be comfortable in while you’re sweating buckets. I’ve been to Disney World twice this summer, and I’ve noticed some popular outfits that a lot of people seem to be loving for this hot weather. I checked with the AllEars YouTube team and our reporters, and it turns out, these are the most popular fashion trends we’re seeing this summer in Disney World!
That Florida sun is BRUTAL, and to combat its effects, we’ve started to see lots of guests carry around UV Umbrellas!

We’ve even tried them out ourselves and are definitely a fan! While they’re a little cumbersome, they really do help keep you out of the sun, especially when you’re waiting in line. One of the AllEars YouTube producers let me stand under hers when I was shadowing the team in the parks, and WOW is that thing amazing! If you’re concerned about baking in the sun, or you’re more sensitive to it than others, we highly recommend grabbing one.
Listen, my BEST FRIEND in the parks this summer has been skirts with shorts built in (yes, skorts), like the ODODOS Women’s Athletic Tennis Skorts!

The best part? These come in SO many colors, you can match them with literally any shirt! And they have POCKETS. End of story, that’s enough for me. I too have been obsessed with these recently, so I own way more of them than I probably should (but that’s a problem for winter me).
You know what’s even better? Having everything all in one outfit with a dress like the AnotherChill Womens Tennis Dress!

Now, we’ve seen these around the parks for sure, but overall we’ve just seen tons of athletic dresses around the parks, which I personally LOVE. Lots of these are made of moisture-wicking material, meaning it’ll absorb a lot of your sweat instead of just having it sit on your skin (blech), and since it’s a dress, it’s flowy and comfy at the same time.
And for the men, we’ve noticed that Athletic Shorts really seem to be the move!

These shorts are cool and breathable while, again, being moisture-wicking to keep you comfortable. Plus, the zippered pockets will make sure that your phone and other essentials don’t fall out while you’re walking around or riding rides.
We’re always keeping an eye on the latest fashion trends around Disney World and let you know what we’ve tried out ourselves, so stay tuned to AllEars!
Artic Cool shirts have become a life saver.
When I go to DW, I take a back pack with a rain suit and pull-over rain boots. Makes me totally rain proof.
