What You Need to Know About Disney World’s Biggest Projects Opening SOON

EPCOT is (still) a park filled with tons of construction, though progress is certainly being made!

EPCOT

Disney recently announced the timelines of some of its upcoming projects, including some of the ones in EPCOT. But what is construction really looking like behind those walls? Let’s take a look!

Over at Communicore Hall, things are really starting to come together! We can see the pillars that are in between the buildings and overhangs, which really helps give us a better idea of what it’ll look like when completed.

The building itself still has lots of scaffolding around it as they’re completing the inside, but seeing them move on to some of the smaller aspects of the project is a great sign that construction is going well.

Progress!

Meanwhile, Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana looks like it’s nearly ready for the public! The pathways look complete, we see water fountains inside the attraction, and all the greenery looks incredible.

There’s also a stand set up inside the attraction. Maybe it could be there to help guests or to have a Cast Member regulate how many people are inside at one time, but we’ll have to wait and see to be sure!

It seems construction is now mainly focused on the opposite side of the attraction now. From our view, it looks like construction is also coming along well here, too.

Overall, construction seems to be moving along very well in this park, and maybe we’ll see more of those walls come down in the next few months. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
