NEW DETAILS Revealed for Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios!

Something NEW is coming to Disney World this year for the holiday season and we’ve got a big update!

Christmas in Hollywood Studios

Disney has announced a brand new (separately ticketed) holiday party coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios called Disney Jollywood Nights that’ll feature music, a holiday special featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy, and more. Disney had also teased a special sing-along during the party, and now we’ve got more details about that and other things coming to the party!

Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along

In its announcement about the party earlier today Disney shared, “And …what’s this? Hyperion Theater will host a spirited sing-along – more details to come.” If the “what’s this?” at the beginning of that phrase gave you Nightmare Before Christmas vibes and made you verrrrrrry excited, we have some awesome news!

Hyperion Theater

Disney has officially revealed that a sing-along themed to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will be offered during Jollywood Nights at the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Studios!

Disney has said that they’ll be decking out the theater (dressing up the walls and scenery) to make it fit the theme and there will be 2 performers to take you on this wild ride. The songs “Kidnap the Sandy Claws” and “What’s This?” will be sung and it’ll even SNOW!

Jack and Sally

Disney has also shared that both Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie will appear during the show!

We can’t WAIT to see what this show is like!

Kermit and Miss Piggy Sing-Along

In other entertainment news, Disney has already announced that “Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host a live holiday special at Theater of the Stars with some of their Disney friends,” during Jollywood Nights. Disney has since shared that the show is meant to “rival” Radio City Musical Hall.

Kermit and Miss Piggy

There will be singing, dancing, and specialty numbers by Mickey and Minnie, Tiana (who will bring some New Orleans jazz to the stage), and Belle (who will round out the evening with “As Long as There’s Christmas”). There will be a live band on the stage, singers, and dancers too.

  • The jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby will be a sing-along piano bar. There will be songs performed from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. It’s meant to be a swinging, speakeasy-type of party.

  • There will be a ghostly band at the soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard, which is meant to recreate the Tip Top Club from the Tower of Terror. There will also be custom food.
  • Over at Pixar Place, it’ll have a 1950s theme in terms of food, beverage, and decor. There will also be a Frozone Snow Zone where Frozone will be…well…making it snow!

  1. I’m so confused about the early access to ticket sales. Do I have to be staying at a Disney resort on June 29th, or on the desired date of my Jollywood night?
