Fantasmic! Will Temporarily Close SOON in Disney World

Disney World has some AMAZING nighttime entertainment.

You’ve got Happily Ever After fireworks in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Forever in EPCOT, and Disney Movie Magic in Hollywood Studios, However, one fan-favorite nighttime entertainment option is set to close soon.

Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios is always a very popular show with guests. The show features a stunning array of special effects with lights, lasers, fireworks, and water animation as it tells a story that pits Mickey up against some of Disney’s most wicked villains.

However, if you’re planning on seeing this show soon, we need to tell you about two important dates. It looks like Fantasmic! will be closed for maintenance on May 1st and 2nd.

We checked the Fantasmic! page on the Disney World website and saw that no showtimes were listed for either of those dates.

We’re not sure why dining packages were allowed to be booked on those dates, but if you’ve booked one for yourself, you should probably be aware of the show’s temporary closure on those dates. If you still plan on catching the show and wish to book a package for another date, you’ll have to check and see if they’re available. Also, be sure to think about rearranging your park pass reservations for Hollywood Studios if Fantasmic! is a priority for you and your group.
