Planning a trip to Disney World is no mean feat! You’ve got to book Park Pass Reservations, decide on dining plans, pack your bags with all the essentials, and keep track of all the changes happening in the parks.

We can help you out with that last task right now! If you’re visiting Disney World soon, read on to see everything that’s going to be CLOSED in Disney World this week, from September 25th through October 1st.
Magic Kingdom Closures
Walt Disney World Railroad
The fan-favorite Walt Disney World Railroad will sadly continue its long closure in Magic Kingdom this week.

Disney still hasn’t given an update on when this ride could reopen, but it might stay closed until construction is finished on the TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster. That project has interrupted the train tracks in Tomorrowland, preventing the train from running its usual route. The TRON coaster is expected to open in the spring of 2023.
Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
The Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. gift shop is located at the end of the Space Mountain coaster. It’s currently closed, so guests are being directed to exit a different way.

Disney hasn’t announced when this store will reopen, but it looked pretty empty inside (no shelves or merchandise) the last time we saw it.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Enchanted Tales with Belle is still closed in Fantasyland.

Disney hasn’t announced when this character meet-and-greet attraction will return.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
Another character spot is also closed: Pete’s Silly Sideshow. This is where Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, and Donald used to hang out and meet guests.

Disney has said this spot will reopen “in the coming months,” so we’re watching carefully to see when we can return!
Meet Ariel at Her Grotto
Although Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid is still open, the Ariel meet-and-greet location nearby is closed for now.

Disney hasn’t said when this spot will reopen.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closures
Fantasmic!
We can’t WAIT for Fantasmic! to return to Hollywood Studios. This show will be back sometime in 2022, but Disney hasn’t given us a specific date yet.

Disney has revealed that Cast Member rehearsals have started, so we’re hoping the show is back soon!
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a stage show in Hollywood Studios, and it’s been closed for a long time now.

Disney hasn’t said when or if this show might reopen.
Find out what you should eat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
EPCOT Closures
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
Right now, and EPCOT Food & Wine Festival booth is currently occupying the Canada Far & Wide theater. Instead of a movie about Canada’s natural landscape, you can find an apple crumble tart and several drinks here!

We’re expecting the film attraction to return after the festival ends on November 19th.
The American Adventure Pavilion
The American Adventure Pavilion show is currently closed in EPCOT’s World Showcase.

Disney hasn’t announced when the show will reopen, but we’ll be watching for more updates.
Check out the new EPCOT merchandise collection here!
Disney Water Park Refurbishments
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
While Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park remains open, Blizzard Beach is still closed.

Disney hasn’t announced yet when Blizzard Beach will reopen.
Learn more about the Blizzard Beach construction here.
While you’re in Disney World next week, make sure you check out some of the special snacks and treats that are in the park for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.

We’ve already tried out some of these snacks, which include Encanto cupcakes, Birria tacos, and frozen drinks.
